Rep Team Tryouts

It’s that time of year again! We are still awaiting official coaching appointments, but as we quickly approach the end of the season and battle for ice, WFRA has scheduled the following spring tryouts for the 2025-2026 rep season (ALL ICE TIMES ARE AT PETE PALANGIO ARENA):
U14 Rep Team*
Conditioning #1: Tuesday April 8 @ 6:15 pm
Conditioning #2: Tuesday April 15 @ 6:15 pm
Tryout #1: Tuesday April 22 @ 6:15 pm
Tryout #2: Tuesday April 29 @ 6:15 pm
*For U12 players wishing to be considered for the U14 team, please attend the U14 conditioning and tryout sessions.
U16 Rep Team:
Conditioning #1: Tuesday April 8 @ 7:15 pm
Conditioning #2: Tuesday April 15 @ 7:15 pm
Tryout #1: Tuesday April 22 @ 7:15 pm
Tryout #2: Tuesday April 29 @ 7:15 pm
U19 Rep Team:
Conditioning #1: Tuesday April 8 @ 8:15 pm
Conditioning #2: Tuesday April 15 @ 8:15 pm

U12 Interest Ice
Although U12 tryouts take place in the fall, an “Interest Ice” session will be announced at a later date (TBA).
Details:
The ice time costs are 50$ per player, which includes 2 conditioning sessions and 2 tryout sessions. Payments are made on RAMP – there will be no collection of fees at the arena.
Players must register in their actual age division – those wishing to try out for the next highest division may do so but must attend both age group tryouts (their own and the one above). Please answer the “Player Movement Request” question during the registration process if you would like for your player to be considered for a different age group.
Rep team fees are calculated in the fall and are dependent on the amount of ice rental and tournaments. The fees are above the house league registration fees.
Players must register to attend. See the Rep Team Policy (here) for further details and assessment criteria.
**We’re looking for qualified evaluators for all tryouts!**

Annual General Meeting

When: Monday, May 5, 2024 at 6:30pm
Where: North Bay Public Library Auditorium (271 Worthington St E, North Bay)
The WFRA 2025 Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday, May 5 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Auditorium at the North Bay Public Library at 271 Worthington St. E. All members in good standing are invited to attend. Members include players, coaches, and board members and officials, as well as parents/guardians of players under the age of 18.
At this meeting we will present reports from the various Executive members, review and vote on motions, and hold elections for Executive member positions that are up for election or vacant. An agenda will be provided in advance of the meeting. Options are available for voting by proxy or in absentia for members who can not attend. Please contact us for details if you need to exercise this option.
The AGM is a time for us to look back at our year in review with our members. It is also a time of change and renewal. There are many opportunities for our members to take leadership roles within the association to help make sure that we continue to provide quality ringette programming. WFRA is always looking for those to help us grow and develop the sport and the association. Whether you are an adult player or an interested family member, we need you to help us continue to be able to provide quality programming.
The following positions are up for election for two-year terms:
Vice-President
Secretary
House League Director
Sponsorship Director
Ways and Means Director
Registrar
In addition, the following position is up for election for a one-year term:
Treasurer
